LXB hopes to shortly conclude a contract for the sale of its remaining property interests in Ayr to a developer who will take forward a revised masterplan forward for Corton phase of the South East Ayr Masterplan.
The site has extensive frontage to the A77 and forms the first phase of the South East Ayr Masterplan. The site is part of a strategic land release by South Ayrshire Council to facilitate development of up to 2,700 new residential units, business space and complementary retail.
A new PPP for the Corton scheme was approved at Committee in May 2015.Detailed planning consents for the supermarket and first phase of infrastructure have been granted by the Council in May 2016 following the signing of Legal Agreement.
